JAPAN TRIP 2018

One of the things that makes our club special is that we do so much more for our members. After a year of fundraising in 2018, we made our first club trip to Japan.

Our first destination was Tokyo, a city that never sleeps. Highlights there included four training sessions at the JKA Hombu, world headquarters and home of Shotokan Karate. Other highlights included the Samurai museum, Senakuji Temple and the Shibuya crossing.

We all enjoyed a relaxing day at Yunessum hot springs. Next, we travelled on the amazing bullet train, enjoying a great view of Mt Fugi on the way to Kyoto, the cultural and historical capital of Japan. Highlights here included Nijo castle, Golden temple, and the traditional streets of Sannenzaka. We can't wait for our next trip next year hope you can make it!
